SCHOOL RULES & GUIDLINES
1. Discipline and Behaviour:
• Forming groups or running in the school corridors is strictly prohibited.
• Students must maintain discipline while changing classrooms between periods. They should not leave their classrooms unnecessarily.
• Bullying or the use of foul language is a punishable offense.
• Students must respect school property. Damaging furniture, writing on walls or harming others’ belongings is prohibited.
2. Uniform and Hygiene:
• Students must come to school neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform on all working days and school functions.
• Children accompanying parents to school for any occasion, including PTMs, must also wear the school uniform.
• All non-Sikh boys must keep their hair short, and girls must tie their hair neatly with a blue band.
• On birthdays, students must come in uniform. Distribution of toffees above ₹10 is not allowed.
3. Attendance and Punctuality:
• Students must reach school before the start of school timings, whether they come on their own or are escorted.
• It is compulsory to maintain 80% attendance to be eligible for the Final Term Examination.
• Repeated absence for more than three days without prior information may result in the student’s name being struck off the enrollment register.
4. Personal Belongings:
• Students must carry their almanac and identity card daily.
• Personal details in the almanac, along with a photograph, must be filled out neatly and signed by parents/guardians.
• The school is not responsible for lost items. Bringing valuable articles, sharp instruments, or gadgets like mobile phones and iPods is prohibited. If the same is found with the child, it may lead to a penalty of Rs 5000 and suspension from the school.
5. Parental Responsibilities:
• Parents must check and sign the School Diary daily.
• Meetings with teachers can only take place during PTA meetings or with prior appointments.
• Parents escorting students should ensure their child does not leave the school before their arrival.
6. Transport and Canteen:
• Students using the school bus must maintain discipline. Aggressive behaviour may result in the withdrawal of bus privileges.
• The canteen facility is available only during break time or after school hours.
7. Conduct Outside School:
• Students must always be polite and respectful, as their behaviour reflects on the school’s reputation.
• Smoking, gambling, violence, bursting crackers, playing with colours and practicing untouchability, casteism, or communalism are strictly prohibited.
8. Academic Policies:
• Students failing in two or more subjects will not be promoted to the next class.
9. Fees and Withdrawal:
• Fees can be paid by cash, cheque, or online mode within the stipulated time.
• A one-month notice in writing is required for withdrawal from school, failing which fees for the non appearing months shall be charged.
10. General Rules:
• School rules and policies are subject to change without prior notice.
• Students must follow all instructions and orders given by school authorities. Boycotting orders is not permitted.
