Examination Guidelines

Duration of Exams:

Periodic Test 

 

50 minutes for Classes I to XII

 

Term Exams   

Classes I to V: 2 hours for all subjects

Classes VI to XII: 3 hours (except):

Computer Exam (Classes VI to X): 2 Hrs

Fine Arts Exam (Classes XI & XII): 2 Hrs

 

Syllabus:

Provided one week in advance for Periodic Tests.

Stationery Requirements:

Students must bring pens, pencils, scales, geometry boxes, etc.

Presentation:

 Write neatly, maintain margins, and ensure proper handwriting.

Draw and label diagrams clearly.

Avoid spelling errors and unnecessary cutting.

Discipline and Ethics:

Unfair Means or Misconduct:

ZERO marks will be awarded if a student is caught using unfair means or displaying bad behavior with the invigilator during the exam.

Strict disciplinary action will follow in such cases.

Periodic Tests:

Must be taken seriously as preparation for Term-End Examinations.

 Attendance:

Avoid leaves during Periodic Tests.

For medical reasons, submit a medical certificate and application promptly.

Retest Policy:

Retests will be conducted only for students on school duty or participating in school-sponsored activities.

No retests for family events or medical grounds.

Parental Involvement:

Parents should monitor scores and involvement in studies.

Students are encouraged to reattempt Periodic papers after clarifying doubts and store them for future reference.

Missed Tests:

If one Periodic Test is missed due to valid reasons (medical/personal):

Average marks of other tests will be taken.

Application and medical papers (if applicable) must be submitted within two days.

If both Periodic Tests in a semester are missed due to valid reasons:

No retests will be conducted.

Communication:

Parents/wards are encouraged to reach out for assistance or clarifications when needed.
