SCHOOL RULES & GUIDLINES

Must follow these rules and guidlines:

  1. Forming groups or running in the school corridors, is strictly forbidden.
  2. Parents must check and sign the School Diary every day.
  3. Children must come in their school uniform if they are accompanying the parents to school for any occasion, especially during PTM’s
  4. Students, who come to the school on their own, must reach the school before school timings. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones, i-pods and other similar gadgets to school.
  5. Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in discipline. Students should not unnecessarily leave their class at the end of every period.
  6. Students should come to school neatly dressed. They must take care of their hygiene. School uniform has to be worn on all working days and for all school functions.
  7. Each student must carry his /her almanac and identity card to the school daily.
  8. The personal detail of the student must be neatly filled on the first page of the almanac. Photograph must also be affixed in the space provided. The information must be duly signed by the parents / guardian.
  9. All non -Sikh boys must keep their hair short. Girls must tie their hair neatly with a blue band.
  10. Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not allowed.
  11. Students, who come to school escorted, should never leave the school, before the escort arrives.
  12. Parents can meet the teachers only in P.T.A.meetings or with prior appointment.
  13. Students using school bus, must maintain discipline in the bus.
  14. On birthday, the student must come in school uniform only. Toffees above the M.R.P Rs 10 are not allowed to be distributed in the school.
  1. Students are expected to respect school property. No school student should damage furniture, write or draw anything on the walls or in any way damage things belonging to others. Students are advised to keep their classroom, school building as clean as possible and throw leftovers in the dustbins.
  2. Delhi Public school students should invariably be polite and respectful to others, wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. Bullying or use of foul language is punishable offence.
  3. Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instrument to the school, which can cause injury to anyone.
  4. The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is not advisable to bring valuable articles to school.
  5. Fees can be paid by cash /cheque /draft within the stipulated time.
  6. No student must indulge in gambling / rude behavior / smoking / violence in any form / bursting of crackers, practicing untouchability, casteism\communalism.
  7. Student indulging in aggressive behavior will not be allowed to travel by school bus. They will be dropped and picked by the parents.
  8. Canteen facility is available only in break time or after the school is over.
  9. Students will not boycott the order and instructions given to them by the school authorities.
  10. Students who fail in any two subjects will not be promoted to the next class.
  11. School rules can be changed without prior notice or reason.
  12. If a student is to be withdrawn from the school, the parent must give one calendar month’s notice in writing, failing which, one month’s fees will be charged in lieu thereof.
  13. It is compulsory for all students to complete 80% attendance, to make them eligible to appear in the Final Term Examination.
  14. Repeated absence for more than three days, without prior information may lead to striking off of student’s name from the enrollment register.
